[Datagrip] AWS RDS 연결하기, 학생계정 인증하기, Communications link failure

Datagrip이 좋다고 백번듣고 겨우 깔았는데 .. 사용법을 몰라 한동안 방치했다가 오늘 겨우 연결했다

 

AWS rds 를 사용하는 디비를 연결해보려고 한다.

연결을 하는데 자꾸 에러가 나서 해결하느라 고생 좀 했다 😓 관련 얘기는 하단에 첨부하였다

 

연결방법

왼쪽 상단 플러스 버튼을 눌러서 Data Source > MySQL을 생성해줍시다

 

Host - aws의 엔드포인트를 입력해줍니다

User - rds 생성시 입력한 사용자명

Password - 비밀번호

Database - 데이터베이스명

 

을 모두 입력해줍니다

Communications link failure

The last packet sent successfully to the server was 0 milliseconds ago. The driver has not received any packets from the server.
javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: No appropriate protocol (protocol is disabled or cipher suites are inappropriate)

하단에 있는 Test Connection 을 눌러주는데 에러 발생 ... 

자꾸 연결이 안된다고 해서 삽질의 연속 ..

 

 

상단에 있는 Driver가 MySQL로 되어있는데, 이걸 Amazon Auora로 바꿔주니 해결되었습니다
